Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, well-ventilated surface.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable for best quality (recommended) or component/composite cables.
  2. Connect to audio system: Use optical digital cable or HDMI to AV receiver.
  3. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable for BD-Live and updates.
  4. Connect USB device: Insert into USB port for media playback.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Devices

  3. Stop: Press STOP; resume with PLAY (if resume playback enabled).
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters/tracks.
  5. Search: Press LEFT/RIGHT during playback for slow/fast search.
  6. Subtitle/Audio: Change via SUBTITLE and AUDIO buttons.
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM during DVD playback.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregular-shaped discs. Do not touch disc surface.

Network Features

BD-Live: Access extra content with compatible discs (requires USB storage). Gracenote: Identifies CD music information. Firmware Updates: Keep player updated via network or USB.

  1. Connect to internet via Ethernet or wireless adapter.
  2. Register player if required by content provider.
  3. Insert USB storage (1GB minimum) for BD-Live content.
