Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, well-ventilated surface.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable from HDMI OUT to TV's HDMI input.
  2. Connect to audio system: Use optical cable from DIGITAL AUDIO OUT to receiver (optional).
  3. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable from LAN port to router (for BD-Live/updates).
  4. Plug AC power cord into wall outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Use correct power voltage (120V).

First-Time Setup

Power on player and TV; follow on-screen setup guide.

  1. Select language: Choose menu language (ENGLISH default).
  2. Connect to network: Set up wired or wireless (if model supports) connection.
  3. Set display resolution: Configure HDMI output (Auto, 1080p, 1080i, etc.).
  4. Configure audio: Select audio output format (Bitstream, PCM).

Connecting Devices

Playing Media

  2. Play: Press PLAY; use arrow keys for menu navigation.
  3. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters/tracks.
  4. Search: Use left/right arrows for fast forward/rewind.
  5. Subtitle/Audio: Press SUBTITLE or AUDIO to change during playback.
  6. USB playback: Insert USB drive, select from XMB under "USB Device".
  7. Resume: Some discs resume from last stop point.

WARNING! Do not move player during disc playback. Unplayable discs may be dirty or incompatible.

Network Features

BD-Live: Access extra content; requires USB memory (1GB+) in USB port. Firmware Updates: Update via network for compatibility. Streaming Services: Access Netflix, YouTube, etc. if available (may require activation).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from outlet before cleaning. Wipe casing with soft, dry cloth. Clean discs with soft cloth from center outward.
