Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use an HDMI cable from the player's HDMI OUT to an HDMI input on your TV.
  2. Connect to Audio System: For surround sound, connect via HDMI or digital optical audio cable (if supported).
  3. Connect to Network: Plug an Ethernet cable into the LAN port for BD-Live and updates (optional).
  4. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a wall outlet.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Devices

TV: HDMI (recommended) or Composite video/audio cables. Audio System: HDMI ARC or Digital Optical. Network: Ethernet cable to router.

  2. Use high-speed HDMI cable for best quality.
  3. For audio system, set player's audio output to "Bitstream" for decoding by AV receiver.

Playing Discs & Media

Supports Blu-ray, DVD, CD, and USB media files.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label side up.

  3. Stop: Press STOP; resume playback with PLAY (if supported by disc).
