Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use an HDMI cable from the player's HDMI OUT to your TV's HDMI input.
  2. Connect to network: For wired, use Ethernet cable to router. For wireless, configure via settings.
  3. Connect audio system: Use DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL) to an AV receiver if desired.
  4. Plug the AC power cord into a wall outlet.

WARNING! Do not place in an enclosed cabinet without proper ventilation. Ensure all connections are secure.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and TV; follow on-screen setup wizard.

  1. Select Language: Choose menu and on-screen display language.
  2. Network Setup: Connect to your home network (Wi-Fi or wired).
  3. BD-Live Internet Connection: Enable if you wish to use BD-Live features.
  4. Easy Setup: The player will configure basic video and audio settings for your TV.

Controls and Settings

Access the Home Menu via HOME button. Front Panel: POWER, OPEN/CLOSE, USB port.

Remote: POWER, Numeric buttons, HOME, OPTIONS, NETFLIX (shortcut), Directional pad, ENTER, RETURN, PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SUBTITLE, AUDIO.

Settings Menu: Network Setup, Display Settings (Resolution, Screen Size), Audio Settings (Digital Audio Output, DRC), Parental Control (default password 0000), System Settings (Software Update, Initialize).

Connecting Devices

TV: HDMI cable (recommended). Audio System: Optical cable. Network: Ethernet or Wi-Fi. USB: Flash drive or HDD.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Use high-speed HDMI cable for best video/audio quality.
  3. Select correct input source on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Tip: For BRAVIA Sync (HDMI-CEC), enable Control for HDMI in the player's settings.

Playing Disc Media

Supports Blu-ray, DVD, CD, and Super Audio CD.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again.
  2. Play: Playback may start automatically. Use PLAY, PAUSE, STOP.
  3. Navigate: Use PREV/NEXT to skip chapters/tracks. Use directional pad for menu navigation.
  4. Search: Press SEARCH or use fast-forward/rewind.
  5. Subtitle/Audio: Press SUBTITLE or AUDIO to change during playback.
  6. Resume Play: Some discs allow resuming from last stop point.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Network Features

Connect to the internet to access streaming apps and BD-Live content.

  1. From Home Menu, select [Settings] > [Network Settings] > [Internet Settings] > [Easy].
  2. Follow prompts to connect to your Wi-Fi network or wired network.
  3. Once connected, access [Video] or [Music] apps from the Home Menu.
  4. For BD-Live, ensure a USB flash drive is inserted in the USB port for temporary storage.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Wipe the cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. Clean the disc tray with a soft brush if dusty.

CAUTION! Never use solvents such as benzene or thinner. Do not allow liquids to enter the unit.
