Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface with proper ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use included HDMI cable to connect HDMI OUT to TV's HDMI input.
  2. Connect to audio system: Use optical cable (not included) to DIGITAL AUDIO OUT if needed.
  3. Connect to network: Use LAN cable for wired connection or set up Wi-Fi later.
  4. Plug AC power cord into wall outlet.

WARNING! Ensure all connections are secure before powering on. Keep unit away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on player and TV; follow on-screen setup guide.

  1. Select language: Choose menu language (default: English).
  2. Connect to network: Select wired or wireless setup; enter Wi-Fi password if needed.
  3. Set display settings: Configure HDMI resolution (Auto, 1080p, etc.) based on TV capability.

Connecting Devices

HDMI: Primary connection to HDTV. Audio System: Optical digital audio. Network: LAN or Wi-Fi. USB: Front or rear port for media.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Connect HDMI cable from player's HDMI OUT to TV's HDMI IN.
  3. For audio system, connect optical cable from DIGITAL AUDIO OUT to receiver.
  4. Power on devices and select correct input on TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Tip: For 4K TVs, set HDMI resolution to "Auto" for optimal upscaling.

Playing Disc Media

Supports Blu-ray, DVD, and CD formats.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label side up, press again to close.
  2. Play: Disc may auto-play; otherwise press PLAY.
  3. Navigate: Use TOP MENU or POP-UP MENU for disc features; SKIP for chapters.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; resume by pressing PLAY (if resume feature is enabled).
  5. Search: Use LEFT/RIGHT arrows during playback for fast forward/rewind.
  6. Subtitle/Audio: Press SUBTITLE or AUDIO to change tracks during playback.
  7. USB Playback: Insert USB device, select from Home Menu under "USB".
  8. Photo/Music: Navigate files with arrow buttons; slideshow options available.

WARNING! Do not move player during disc playback. Handle discs by edges; keep clean and free of scratches.

Network & Streaming

Connect to internet for software updates and streaming apps.

  1. Network Setup: Go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Settings.
  2. Select connection type: Wired (automatic) or Wireless (select network, enter password).
  3. Access apps: From Home Menu, select Netflix, YouTube, or other available services.
  4. Software Update: Enable auto-update or check manually in System Settings.

Note: Streaming quality depends on internet speed. BD-Live requires USB storage device for temporary data.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth to wipe exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with water only; do not use solvents.
