Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable for best quality (recommended). Connect HDMI OUT on player to HDMI IN on TV.
  2. Connect to audio system: Use DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (optical) or AUDIO OUT (L/R) to your sound system.
  3. Connect to network: Use LAN cable for wired connection or set up Wi-Fi later.
  4. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not place heavy objects on the player. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on.

First-Time Setup

Power on TV and player; follow on-screen setup wizard.

  1. Select Language: Choose menu language (ENGLISH default).
  2. Connect to Network: Select wired or set up Wi-Fi by entering your network password.
  3. Set Display Settings: Configure resolution (e.g., 1080p) and screen format (16:9).
  4. Set Audio Settings: Configure audio output format (e.g., Bitstream or PCM).

CAUTION! Do not disconnect power during software update. Ensure stable power supply.

Settings Categories: Network Setup, Display Settings, Audio Settings, Parental Lock (default password 0000), System Settings. Video: Resolution, TV Type, Screen Format. Audio: Digital Audio Output, BD Audio MIX Setting, DRC. System: Quick Start Mode, Software Update, Language, Initial Setup.

Connecting Devices

TV: HDMI (primary), Component, or Composite. Audio System: Optical or analog stereo. Network: LAN or Wi-Fi.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Match cable types to correct ports (HDMI to HDMI, etc.).
  3. Power on TV first, then the player. Select correct input source on TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Tip: Use a high-speed HDMI cable for 1080p and 3D content (if supported).

Playing Disc Media

Supports Blu-ray Disc, DVD, CD, and recorded media (BD-R/RE, DVD±R/RW).

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label side up in tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Play: Disc may start automatically. Use PLAY, PAUSE, STOP on remote.
  3. Navigate: Use TOP MENU or POP-UP MENU for disc menus. Use arrow keys and ENTER to select.
  4. Skip/Search: Use PREV/NEXT for chapters; use LEFT/RIGHT arrows or SLOW forward/backward.
  5. Subtitle/Audio: Press SUBTITLE or AUDIO during playback to change tracks.
  6. USB Playback: Insert USB device, select [Video], [Music], or [Photo] from HOME menu.
  7. Resume Play: Some discs resume from stop point when PLAY is pressed again.

WARNING! Do not touch the disc lens. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Network & Streaming

Connect to internet for software updates and streaming services.

  1. Network Setup: Go to [Settings] > [Network Settings] > [Set up Network Connection]. Choose wired or wireless.
  2. Access Apps: Press HOME, select [Applications] to access Netflix, YouTube, etc. (May require separate account).
  3. BD-LIVE: Some Blu-ray discs offer extra online content. Requires USB memory for storage (not supplied).
  4. Software Update: Can be set to auto-update via network or done manually from system settings.

Note: Streaming service availability may vary by region. Internet connection required.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from AC outlet before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth to wipe cabinet. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with water only; do not use solvents.
