Installation & Connections

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect to TV: Use component video cables (Y, Pb, Pr) for best quality, or composite video (yellow).
  2. Connect audio: Use coaxial digital cable to AV receiver, or stereo RCA cables to TV/amplifier.
  3. Connect power cord to AC outlet.
  4. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on.

WARNING! Do not place heavy objects on the player. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and TV; follow on-screen prompts if available.

  1. Set TV type: In SETUP menu, select TV shape (4:3 or 16:9) and output format (Progressive or Interlaced).
  2. Set language: Choose menu language, disc menu language, and audio language preferences.
  3. Configure audio: Select digital output format (PCM, Bitstream) based on your audio system.
  4. Set parental lock: Enter default password (often 0000) to set rating restrictions.

CAUTION! Use correct cables for video/audio connections to avoid signal issues.

Playing Discs

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3 CDs, JPEG photo CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, close tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use numeric buttons to select title/chapter/track.
  3. Navigate: Use arrow buttons and ENTER to select from disc menu.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; press PLAY to resume or OPEN/CLOSE to eject.
  5. Skip: PREV/NEXT for previous/next chapter or track.
  6. Search: Press left/right arrows during playback for fast forward/rewind.

WARNING! Do not move player during disc playback. Handle discs by edges only.

Advanced Playback Features

  1. Zoom: Press ZOOM repeatedly to cycle through magnification levels.
  2. Slow Motion: Press SLOW during playback; adjust speed with numeric buttons.
  3. Step Frame: Press STEP to advance frame by frame.
  4. Repeat: Press REPEAT to repeat title, chapter, track, or all.
  5. A-B Repeat: Set start (A) and end (B) points to repeat a segment.
  6. Angle Change: Press ANGLE if disc contains multiple camera angles.
  7. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE to select available tracks.
  8. Program Play: Create custom play sequence for CDs or MP3s.

Note: Some settings may not be available during disc playback.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug from AC outlet before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with water only.

Lens Cleaning: Use only approved CD/DVD lens cleaning discs if needed. Do not attempt to open the unit.
