Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect video output: Use component, composite, or S-Video cables to your TV or projector.

  3. Plug the power cord into a standard AC outlet.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Devices

Video: Connect to TV using component, S-Video, or composite cables. Audio: Connect to AV receiver or sound system using digital optical/coaxial or analog RCA cables.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Match cable colors to ports (Red/Green/Blue for component video).
  3. Select the correct input source on your TV and audio receiver.

Tip: For best picture quality, use component video cables and set the player to Progressive Scan mode if your TV supports it.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW (Video), CD-DA, CD-R/RW, and MP3 CDs.

  1. Load discs: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place up to five discs on the carousel, press OPEN/CLOSE again.
  2. Select disc: Use the DISC SKIP button or remote's DISC 1-5 buttons.
  3. Play: Press PLAY; navigate menus with arrow buttons and ENTER.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; the player remembers the stop point (Last Memory).
  5. Skip: Use PREV/NEXT or number keys to jump to chapters/tracks.
  6. Repeat/Shuffle: Access via the REPEAT and SHUFFLE buttons on the remote.
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to magnify a section of the picture.
  8. Slow Motion: Press SLOW during playback.

WARNING! Do not move the player while discs are loaded or playing. Always press STOP before opening the disc tray.

Advanced Features

Parental Control: Restrict playback of DVDs based on ratings (set password in SETUP menu). Audio Options: Select Dolby Digital, DTS, or PCM output. Subtitle/Angle: Change subtitles or camera angles during playback if available on the disc.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the player before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For the lens, use a commercially available CD/DVD lens cleaning disc if necessary.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray liquids directly on the player. Do not disassemble the unit.
