Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to power: Plug the AC adapter into the DC IN jack, then into a wall outlet.
  2. Connect to TV (optional): Use the supplied AV cable to connect AV OUT to your TV's video/audio inputs.
  3. Charge the battery: The built-in battery charges when the player is connected to AC power and turned off.
  4. Insert a disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place the disc label-side up, then press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.

Basic Operation

  5. Adjust volume: Use Volume buttons on the unit or remote.
  6. To turn off: Press and hold POWER, or simply close the lid if equipped.

Playing Discs & Media

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs. Do not move the player during playback.

Battery & Power Management

The built-in lithium-ion battery provides portable operation.

  1. Charging: Connect the AC adapter. The charge indicator lights during charging and turns off when full.
  2. Battery Life: Approximately 2.5 to 3 hours for DVD playback, longer for audio CD playback.
  3. Conservation: Reduce screen brightness and volume to extend battery life.
  4. Car Use: Use the optional car adapter for power during vehicle travel.

CAUTION! Use only the supplied AC adapter. Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the AC adapter before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet and screen. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the cloth with water.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents, abrasives, or aerosol cleaners. Avoid getting moisture into openings. Store discs in their cases.
