Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect video output: Use Component, S-Video, or Composite cables to your TV or AV receiver.
  2. Connect audio output: Use analog RCA audio cables, coaxial digital, or optical digital to your audio system.
  3. Connect USB device: Insert USB storage into the front-panel USB port for media playback.
  4. Plug the AC power cord into a wall outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and TV; follow on-screen prompts if available.

  1. Set TV Type: In SETUP menu, select TV Type (4:3 or 16:9) to match your television.
  2. Set Progressive Scan: Enable Progressive Scan output in VIDEO settings if your TV supports it.
  3. Set Audio Output: In AUDIO settings, configure Digital Output (PCM or Bitstream) and Dynamic Range.
  4. Set Language: In SETUP menu, select menu language (default is ENGLISH).

CAUTION! Handle discs by the edges; do not touch the playback surface.

Access OSD via SETUP button on remote. Front Panel: POWER, OPEN/CLOSE, PLAY/PAUSE, STOP.

Setup Menu: TV Type (4:3, 16:9), Progressive Scan (On/Off), Audio (Digital Out, Dynamic Range), Language, Parental Control (password default 0000). Playback Settings: Repeat, Slow Motion, Zoom, Angle selection (if available).

Connecting Devices

Video: Component, S-Video, or Composite to TV. Audio: Analog, Coaxial, or Optical to audio system.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Match cable colors to jacks (Red/Green/Blue for Component; Red/White for Audio).
  3. Select correct input on your TV and audio receiver.

Tip: For best video quality, use Component cables with Progressive Scan enabled.

Playing Media

Supports DVDs, Video CDs, Audio CDs, and CD-R/RW with MP3/JPEG files.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, close tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP or numeric buttons to select title/chapter/track.
  3. Pause/Still: Press PAUSE during playback; press again to resume.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; press OPEN/CLOSE to eject disc.
  5. Slow Motion: Press SLOW during playback; multiple presses change speed.
  6. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes (Off, Title, Chapter, Track).
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM to magnify picture; use arrow keys to pan.
  8. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during DVD playback to change tracks.

WARNING! Do not move the player during disc playback. Do not use damaged or warped discs.

USB Playback

Insert USB storage device into front USB port. Use remote to navigate files.

  1. Press USB button on remote to switch to USB mode.
  2. Use arrow keys to navigate folders and select files.
  3. Press PLAY to start playback of selected MP3 or JPEG file.
  4. For DivX playback, ensure files are in supported format.

Note: USB device must be formatted as FAT16 or FAT32. Some USB devices may not be compatible.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with water only.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents, abrasives, or chemical cleaners. Never pour liquid directly onto the unit.
