Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect Video: Use Component (preferred), S-Video, or Composite video cables to your TV.
  2. Connect Audio: Use the included analog audio cables or connect a digital coaxial/optical cable to your receiver.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a wall outlet last.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install two AA batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents on the sides and rear of the unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV/receiver. Follow initial setup prompts if they appear.

  1. Select Language: Use the SETUP menu to set the on-screen display language.
  2. Configure Video Output: In SETUP, select the video output type (Component, S-Video, etc.) and set Progressive Scan to ON if your TV supports it.

Connecting Devices

  2. Match cable colors to jacks (Red/Green/Blue for Component; Red/White for Audio).

Playing Media

Supports DVD, Video CD, Audio CD, CD-R/RW with MP3/JPEG files.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, press OPEN/CLOSE again.
  2. Play: Press PLAY. Use MENU or TITLE to access disc menus.
  3. Navigate: Use arrow buttons and ENTER. Use SKIP (|<< / >>|) for chapter/track skip.
  4. Search: Press SEARCH (<< or >>) during playback for fast forward/reverse.
  5. Pause/Still: Press PAUSE/STEP. Use SLOW (<< or >>) for slow motion.
  6. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes (Off, Chapter, Title, etc.).
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to magnify picture (2X, 4X).
  8. Stop: Press STOP once to remember stop point, twice to clear memory.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

USB Playback

Insert a USB storage device (flash drive) into the front USB port.

  1. Press USB on the remote. The file list will appear on screen.
  2. Navigate folders using arrow buttons. Select a file with ENTER.
  3. For MP3: Playback starts. Use music navigation controls.
  4. For JPEG: A slideshow starts. Use PAUSE to stop, arrow buttons to navigate.

Note: Supports FAT16/FAT32 file systems. Not all USB devices or file formats are guaranteed to work.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the player from the AC outlet before cleaning. Clean the cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a cloth lightly dampened with mild detergent solution.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemicals. Do not allow liquid to enter the unit through vents or the disc tray.
