Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  2. Connect Audio Output: Use stereo RCA cables (red/white) for analog sound or a digital coaxial cable for Dolby Digital/DTS.
  3. Connect Power Cord: Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V outlet.
  4. Position Remote: Point the remote at the player's sensor from within 6 meters and at an angle up to 30 degrees.

WARNING! Do not place the unit in an enclosed space or near heat sources. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV/receiver. Follow on-screen prompts or use the SETUP menu.

  1. Set Language: In the SETUP menu, select your preferred menu language (default is ENGLISH).

Connecting Devices

Video: Connect to TV using Composite, S-Video, or Component cables. Audio: Connect to TV/stereo via analog RCA or to AV receiver via digital coaxial.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Match cable colors to jacks (Video=Yellow, Audio L=White, Audio R=Red).

Playing Media

USB Playback

The front USB port supports playback of MP3, WMA audio files, and JPEG images from USB flash drives.

  1. Ensure the player is on and no disc is playing.
  2. Insert a USB device into the front port. The USB menu may appear automatically.
  3. Use the arrow buttons to navigate folders and select files. Press ENTER to play an audio file or view a JPEG.
  4. During MP3/WMA playback, use the remote's playback controls (PLAY, STOP, SKIP, REPEAT).
  5. To safely remove the USB device, stop playback and wait for the access indicator to stop blinking before pulling it out.

Note: Not all USB devices or file systems are supported. Refer to the manual for compatible formats.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the unit from the AC outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For stubborn stains, use a cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent solution.

CAUTION! Never use solvents such as benzene or thinner. Do not allow liquid to enter the unit through vents or openings. Clean discs with a soft cloth, wiping from center to edge.
