Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  2. Connect to Audio System: Use the audio cables to your receiver. For digital audio, connect the optical or coaxial digital output.
  3. Plug the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block ventilation holes.

First-Time Setup

Playing Discs

Supports a wide range of disc formats.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in the tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY. For DVDs, the main menu may appear—use arrow buttons and ENTER to select.
  3. Navigation: Use SKIP (|<< / >>|) for previous/next chapter or track. Use SEARCH (<<< / >>>) for fast forward/rewind.
  4. Stop: Press STOP once for pause memory (resumable), twice to clear memory.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Advanced Playback Features

Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to magnify the picture (2x, 4x). Use arrow buttons to pan. Subtitle/Audio: Press SUBTITLE or AUDIO to change subtitle language or audio track. Angle: If available on the disc, press ANGLE to switch camera angles. Repeat: Press REPEAT to repeat a title, chapter, track, or all. Program Play: Create a custom play sequence from a CD or MP3 disc using the PROGRAM function.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the player from the AC outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For stubborn stains, use a cloth slightly dampened with mild detergent solution.

CAUTION! Never use solvents such as benzene or thinner. Do not allow liquid to enter the unit. Clean the lens only with a specialized CD/DVD lens cleaner if necessary.
