Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use Component Video cables (for best quality) or Composite Video (yellow RCA).
  2. Connect Audio: Use Digital Optical or Coaxial cable for surround sound, or analog RCA cables (red/white).
  3. Connect to Amplifier/Receiver: For surround sound, connect digital audio output to your AV receiver.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure all connections are made with the unit and other devices turned OFF. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV/receiver. Follow initial setup prompts.

Connecting Devices

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW (Video mode), CD-DA, CD-R/RW, MP3 CDs.

  1. Insert Disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, press OPEN/CLOSE again.
  2. Start Playback: Press PLAY. Use the MENU or TITLE button to access disc menus.
  3. Navigate: Use SKIP (|<< / >>|) for previous/next chapter, or number buttons for direct access.
  4. Special Playback Modes: PAUSE/STEP, SLOW, SEARCH (forward/reverse).
  5. Zoom: Press ZOOM repeatedly to cycle through magnification levels (x2, x4).
  6. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during playback to change tracks.
  7. Angle: Press ANGLE if the disc contains multi-angle scenes.
  8. Resume Playback: The Last Memory function will resume from the stop point if the disc is not ejected.

WARNING! Do not touch the disc's playing surface. Do not use cracked or badly warped discs.

Advanced Features

Parental Control: Set a 4-digit password in the SETUP menu to restrict playback of DVDs above a chosen rating (G, PG, PG-13, R, etc.). Default password is often 0000.

Display Settings: Adjust TV screen format (4:3 Pan Scan, 4:3 Letterbox, 16:9) and video output type (Interlaced, Progressive) in the Screen settings.

Audio Settings: Select Digital Output format (PCM for 2-channel, Bitstream for Dolby/DTS to a receiver). Enable Dynamic Range Control for nighttime viewing.

Care & Cleaning

Always unplug the unit from the wall outlet before cleaning.

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the cabinet. For stubborn stains, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with a mild detergent solution. Never use solvents such as alcohol or benzene.

CAUTION! Do not allow liquid or small objects to fall into the unit. Do not place heavy objects on the player.
