Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, level surface near your TV.

  1. Connect to TV: Use the provided composite cable (yellow for video, red/white for audio) or preferred connection (Component, S-Video).
  2. Connect to Audio System: For surround sound, connect the DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL) to your receiver.
  3. Plug the power cord into a standard AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents on the sides or rear of the unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Follow initial setup prompts if displayed.

  1. Select Language: Use the SETUP menu to set the on-screen display language.
  2. Configure Video Output: In SETUP, choose the correct video output (e.g., Progressive Scan for compatible TVs).

Subtitle Control: Press SUBTITLE during DVD playback to select available languages or turn off. Audio Track: Press AUDIO to select alternate soundtracks (e.g., director's commentary). Parental Control: Restrict playback of DVDs above a set rating via the SETUP menu.

Care & Cleaning
