Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect Video Output: Use component video cables (preferred) or composite video cable to TV.
  2. Connect Audio Output: Use digital coaxial or optical cable to AV receiver, or analog audio cables to TV/amplifier.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install two AA batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure all devices are turned off before making connections. Do not place heavy objects on the unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on the DVD player and your TV/receiver. Follow initial setup prompts if available.

  1. Select Language: Use the SETUP menu to set the on-screen display language.

Connecting Devices

Playing Media

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in the tray, close tray.

  3. Stop: Press STOP once to pause playback; press again to return to start.
  4. Skip/Search: Use PREV/NEXT to skip chapters/tracks. Use SEARCH or SCROLL during playback.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes (Off, Chapter, Title, etc.).
  6. Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to magnify picture (2x, 4x).

  8. Resume: Some discs may resume from the last stop point.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Advanced Features

Parental Control: Set level in SETUP menu (password required). Custom Picture Settings: Adjust picture mode (Standard, Bright, etc.). MP3 Playback: Navigate folders and files on CD-R/RW. Screen Saver: Activates if no operation is performed for a set time.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the unit from the AC outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For the lens, use a commercially available CD/DVD lens cleaner if necessary.
