Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect video output: Use component video cables (for best quality), composite video, or S-Video to your TV.
  2. Connect audio output: Use the analog stereo cables, optical cable, or coaxial cable to your TV or audio receiver.
  3. Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Insert two "AA" batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents on the player. Use caution when moving the unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Set your TV to the correct video input.

  1. Initial settings: The on-screen menu may appear. Use the remote to navigate.
  2. Set language: In the SETUP menu, select your preferred language for menus and subtitles.
  3. Configure video output: In VIDEO SETTINGS, select the output format (e.g., Progressive Scan, Interlace) matching your TV.

Connecting Devices

  2. Match cable colors to connectors (Red/Green/Blue for Component Video; Red/White for Audio).

Tip: For best picture quality, use component video cables and enable Progressive Scan if your TV supports it.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, Video CD, SVCD, and audio CDs (including CD-R/RW with MP3/JPEG files).

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in the tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; disc menu may appear. Use numeric buttons or cursor keys to select titles/chapters.
  3. Stop: Press STOP once for pause memory, twice to clear memory.
  4. Skip/Search: Use PREV/NEXT to skip chapters; use LEFT/RIGHT cursor to search forward/backward.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT to repeat a title, chapter, track, or set A-B repeat.
  6. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during playback to change track or subtitle language.
  7. Angle: Press ANGLE if multiple camera angles are available on the disc.
  8. Display: Press DISPLAY to show playback information (time, chapter, etc.).

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Accessibility Features

Parental Control: Set a level (1-8) and password in the SETUP menu to restrict playback of rated discs. Subtitle and Audio Language: Select preferred languages in the SETUP menu or during playback.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the player from the AC outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For the lens, use a commercially available CD/DVD lens cleaning disc if necessary.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents such as benzene or thinner. Do not allow liquids to enter the unit.
