Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable for best quality (recommended) or Component video cables.
  2. Connect to Audio System: Use coaxial or optical digital audio cable to AV receiver for surround sound.
  3. Connect USB device: Insert USB storage device into front panel USB port.
  4. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Ensure unit has proper ventilation; do not block vents. Use correct cables for connections.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV; follow on-screen menus.

  1. Select Language: In initial setup menu, choose menu language (ENGLISH, ESPAÑOL, FRANÇAIS).
  2. Set TV Aspect Ratio: Choose 4:3 or 16:9 based on your TV.
  3. Configure HDMI Output: Set resolution (Auto, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p).

Setup Menu: Language, Screen Settings (Aspect, HDMI Resolution), Audio Settings (Digital Out, DRC), Parental Control (default password 0000). Playback Settings: Repeat, Shuffle, Slide Show (for photos).

Connecting Devices

HDMI: Primary connection for HDTV. Component: For HDTVs without HDMI. Audio: Digital to receiver, analog to TV.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Connect HDMI cable from player's HDMI OUT to TV's HDMI IN.
  3. For audio, connect coaxial/optical cable from player to AV receiver.
  4. Select correct input source on your TV and receiver.

Tip: Use high-speed HDMI cables for 1080p signal. Ensure all devices support HDCP.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3 CDs, JPEG photo CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, close tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP/SEARCH for navigation.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; press OPEN/CLOSE to eject.
  4. Special Functions: Use TOP MENU, MENU, AUDIO, SUBTITLE, ANGLE during DVD playback.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT for chapter/track/all repeat.
  6. Zoom: Press ZOOM during video or photo playback.
  7. Slide Show: For JPEG photos, set interval and effect in menu.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs. Do not touch the laser lens.

USB Playback

Play MP3, JPEG, and DivX files from USB flash drives.

  1. Insert USB device into front panel USB port.
  2. Press USB button on remote or select USB from HOME menu.
  3. Navigate folders using arrow buttons, select file to play.
  4. For photos: Use SLIDE SHOW button; configure in SETUP.

Note: Supports FAT16/FAT32 format. Some USB devices or high-bitrate files may not be compatible.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from AC outlet before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth to wipe cabinet. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with mild detergent solution; wring thoroughly.

CAUTION! Never use solvents such as benzene or thinner. Do not allow liquid to enter the unit through vents or openings.
