Installation & Setup

Connecting Devices

Video: Connect to TV/Projector via Component, S-Video, or Composite. Audio: Connect to AV Receiver/Amplifier via Digital (Optical/Coaxial) or Analog Stereo.

  1. Turn off all equipment before making connections.
  2. Use high-quality cables for optimal performance, especially for Component video.
  3. Select correct input on your TV and AV receiver (e.g., "DVD" or "Component 1").

Tip: For pure audio CD playback, using the analog outputs connected directly to a stereo amplifier can yield excellent results.

Playing Disc Media

Supports DVD-Video, Video CD, and Audio CD formats.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc on tray label-side up, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY. For DVDs, the main menu may appear—use cursor keys and ENTER to navigate.
  3. Stop: Press STOP once for pause memory, twice to clear memory.
  4. Skip/Search: Use PREV/NEXT to skip chapters/tracks. Use LEFT/RIGHT cursor to search forward/backward.
  5. Pause/Step: Press PAUSE; then use LEFT/RIGHT cursor for frame-by-step.
  6. Title/Menu: Press TITLE to go to DVD title menu. Press MENU to go to root menu.
  7. Eject: Press OPEN/CLOSE. Wait for tray to fully extend.

WARNING! Do not touch the laser lens. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Advanced Features

Repeat: REPEAT button for chapter/track/all. A-B Repeat: Set start (A) and end (B) points. Zoom: Not available on this model. Angle: AUDIO button cycles available angles (if on disc). Subtitle: SUBTITLE button cycles available subtitles. Display: DISPLAY shows current playback status (time, chapter, track).

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect from AC power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth slightly with water. Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not allow liquids to enter the unit through ventilation slots or disc tray. Clean the laser lens only with a specialized CD/DVD lens cleaning disc, if necessary.
