Installation

Unpack the player and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, level surface near your TV.

  1. Connect to TV: Use an HDMI cable (recommended) from the HDMI OUT on the player to an HDMI IN on your TV. Alternatively, use the supplied composite video cable (yellow).
  2. Connect Audio: If using HDMI, audio is carried through the same cable. For other connections, use the white/red audio cables to your TV or audio system. Connect the digital coaxial cable to an AV receiver for surround sound.
  3. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Select the correct input source on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

  1. Initial Setup Menu: The first time you turn on the player, the setup menu may appear. Follow on-screen instructions.
  2. Set Language: Choose your preferred menu language (e.g., ENGLISH).
  3. TV Type: Set the TV screen aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) to match your TV.

Connecting to Your TV

HDMI Connection (Recommended): Provides best video and audio quality.

  1. Turn off the player and TV before connecting.
  2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT on the player.
  3. Connect the other end to an HDMI IN on your TV.
  4. Turn on devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV.

Composite Video Connection: Use the supplied yellow/white/red AV cable.

  1. Connect the yellow plug to VIDEO OUT on player and VIDEO IN on TV.
  2. Connect white/red plugs to AUDIO OUT L/R on player and AUDIO IN L/R on TV.

Tip: For best performance, use high-speed HDMI cables certified for 1080p.

Playing Discs

Supports DVD-Video, Video CD, Audio CD, and MP3 CD.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc with label side up, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY. For DVDs, the main menu may appear—use navigation buttons to select play or features.
  3. Pause/Resume: Press PLAY/PAUSE.
  4. Stop: Press STOP. Press PLAY to resume from stop point (if disc supports resume).
  5. Skip/Search: Press SKIP (>>|) to skip to next chapter/track; hold SEARCH (<< or >>) for fast forward/rewind.
  6. Eject: Press OPEN/CLOSE. Wait for disc to fully eject before removing.

WARNING! Do not use damaged, warped, or irregularly shaped discs. Do not touch the disc surface.

CAUTION! Never use benzene, thinner, or other chemicals. Do not allow liquids to enter the ventilation slots.
