Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable for best quality (recommended). Alternatively, use Component video cables (green, blue, red).
  2. Connect Audio: For surround sound, connect the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (COAXIAL) to your AV receiver. For stereo, use the ANALOG AUDIO OUT L/R cables.
  3. Plug into AC power outlet.
  4. Insert the included batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Set your TV to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI 1).

  1. Initial Language: The on-screen menu will prompt for language selection (default is ENGLISH).
  2. TV Type: Set the TV screen format (4:3 or 16:9) to match your television.

  2. For HDMI, connect one end to player's HDMI OUT, other end to TV's HDMI IN.
  3. Select the corresponding input source on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1).
  4. For audio-only systems, connect DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (COAXIAL) to receiver.

Tip: Use high-speed HDMI cables for reliable 1080p signal transmission.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, CD Audio, and MP3 CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Gently insert a disc (label side up) into the slot until the player pulls it in.
  2. Playback: Playback may start automatically. Use PLAY, PAUSE, STOP.
  3. Navigation: Use SKIP (PREV/NEXT) to jump chapters/tracks. Use numeric buttons to select a title/chapter/track directly.
  4. Search: Press SEARCH or use LEFT/RIGHT arrows during playback for fast forward/reverse.
  5. On-Screen Menus: Press TOP MENU or POP-UP MENU to access disc menus.
