Installation & Connections

Unpack and inspect all items. Place the player on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect to TV: Use an HDMI cable (recommended) from the HDMI OUT on the player to an HDMI IN on your TV. Alternatively, use component video cables (Y, Pb, Pr) or a composite video cable (yellow).
  2. Connect Audio: If using HDMI, audio is carried through the same cable. Otherwise, connect the digital coaxial audio cable to an AV receiver, or use the left/right analog audio cables.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install two AAA batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure all devices are turned off before making connections. Do not place heavy objects on the player.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Select the correct input source on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Parental Controls & System Setup

Parental Control (Password): Restrict playback of DVDs based on ratings (G, PG, PG-13, R, etc.). Default password is often 0000 or 9999 (consult your manual). Set or change in SETUP > Parental.

System Setup: Includes options for Language (OSD, Menu, Audio, Subtitle), Display (TV Type, Screen Saver), and Initial Settings.
