Installation

Connecting Devices

HDMI: Single cable for audio/video to HDTV. Component: Y Pb Pr cables for progressive scan. Composite: Standard video (yellow) + audio (red/white). Audio System: Coaxial digital cable to receiver.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Connect video cable(s) from player output to TV input.
  3. Connect audio cable(s) to TV or audio system.
  4. Select correct input source on TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Tip: For best quality, use HDMI connection and set HDMI Resolution in setup menu to match TV capability.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, and recordable discs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, close tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; disc menu may appear—use arrow buttons and ENTER to navigate.
  3. Navigate: Use SKIP (|<< / >>|) for previous/next chapter; SEARCH (< / >) for fast forward/rewind.
  4. Stop: Press STOP once to pause playback (resume with PLAY); twice to clear resume memory.
  5. Title/Menu: Press TITLE to go to disc title menu; TOP MENU for DVD main menu.
  6. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during playback to change track.
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM repeatedly to cycle through zoom levels (2x, 4x, off).
  8. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through chapter/title/track repeat modes.

WARNING! Do not move player during disc playback. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

USB Playback

Play MP3 audio and JPEG photo files from USB storage device.

  1. Insert USB device into front panel USB port.
  2. Press USB on remote (or select USB source from menu).
  3. Navigate folders using arrow buttons; select file with ENTER.
  4. For photos: Use arrow buttons to browse; slideshow option available in menu.
  5. For MP3: Playback controls same as CD; ID3 tag display supported.

Note: Supports FAT16/FAT32 formatted devices. Some file types or large capacities may not be compatible.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from AC outlet before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth to wipe cabinet. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with mild detergent solution; wring thoroughly.
