Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable (recommended) to HDMI output on player and HDMI input on TV.
  2. Connect Audio: For surround sound, connect Digital Optical Audio output to your AV receiver.
  3. Alternative Video: Use Component or Composite video cables if HDMI is not available.
  4. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Follow on-screen prompts if using HDMI (Auto Setup).

  1. Select Language: Use the SETUP menu to set the on-screen display language.
  2. Configure Video Output: In SETUP, select the appropriate video output (HDMI, Component, etc.) and resolution.
  3. Set Audio Output: Configure digital audio output format (PCM or Bitstream) in the AUDIO settings.

Connecting Devices

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Connect video cable from player output to TV input.
  3. Connect audio cable from player to TV or audio system.
  4. Power on devices and select the correct input source on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Tip: For optimal HDMI performance, use a high-speed HDMI cable.

Playing Media

Supports DVDs, CDs, and USB media.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; disc menu may appear. Use navigation buttons to select.
  3. Stop: Press STOP once to pause playback; press again to return to start.
  4. Skip/Search: Use PREV/NEXT to skip chapters/tracks. Use LEFT/RIGHT arrows to search.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT during playback to cycle through repeat modes.
  6. Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to magnify picture (2x, 4x).
  7. Angle: Press ANGLE if multiple camera angles are available on the disc.
  8. Resume: Some discs may resume playback from the stop point when PLAY is pressed.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Accessibility Features

Subtitle Display: Enable/select via SUBTITLE button. Audio Track Selection: Change via AUDIO button. Parental Controls: Restrict playback of DVDs based on rating level (set password in SETUP menu).

Care & Cleaning
