Installation

Playing CDs & Cassettes

  3. Play: Press PLAY. For CD, use SKIP/SEARCH to navigate tracks. For cassette, use FF/REW.
  4. Stop: Press STOP. For CD, press OPEN/CLOSE to eject. For cassette, press STOP then eject.
  5. Special modes (CD): Press REPEAT for track/all repeat; RANDOM for shuffle play.
  6. Recording (Cassette): Insert a recordable tape, select source (CD/TUNER/AUX), press REC and PLAY simultaneously.

WARNING! Do not touch the CD's playing surface or the cassette tape mechanism.

Radio Operation

AM/FM tuner with 30 presets.

  1. Select function: Press FUNCTION to TUNER.
  2. Select band: Press BAND to choose FM or AM.
  3. Tune: Press and hold TUNING +/- for automatic search, or tap for manual step tuning.
  4. Store preset: Tune to station, press TUNER MEMORY, select a preset number (1-30).
  5. Recall preset: Press the corresponding number button (1-30) directly.

For better FM reception, fully extend and position the wire antenna. For AM, rotate the loop antenna.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth slightly with water; do not use solvents.

Cassette Heads: Use a commercially available head cleaning cassette periodically.

CD Lens: Use a CD lens cleaning disc if playback becomes erratic.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids directly onto the unit.
