Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Connect speakers: Match red/black terminals to speaker wires (red to +, black to -).

Connecting Devices

Playing CDs & Cassettes

Supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW; standard cassette tapes.

  1. Load CDs: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place up to 5 discs in magazine.
  2. Play CD: Press PLAY; use SKIP for tracks, REPEAT for continuous play.
  3. Program CD: Press PROGRAM, select tracks in desired order.
  4. Cassette play: Insert tape, press PLAY; auto-reverse engages at tape end.
  5. Recording: Use TAPE B for recording from CD/tuner; press REC+PLAY.
  6. Stop/Eject: Press STOP; for CD, press OPEN/CLOSE to remove magazine.

WARNING! Do not touch laser lens; keep discs clean. Avoid recording on cassettes with write-protect tabs removed.

Radio Operation

AM/FM tuning with preset memory.

  1. Select band: Press TUNER/BAND for AM or FM.
  2. Tune manually: Press TUNING +/-.
  3. Auto scan: Hold TUNING for 2 seconds to scan stations.
  4. Store presets: Tune to station, press MEMORY, then preset number (1-30).
  5. Recall preset: Press preset number directly or use PRESET +/-.

Note: For best FM reception, extend and position wire antenna properly.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. Clean CD lens with cleaning disc only. Clean tape heads with cotton swab and head cleaner.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or abrasives. Keep magnets away from cassettes and system.
