Installation & Setup

Unpack all components carefully. Place main unit on stable, level surface.

  1. Connect speakers: Match red/black wires to corresponding terminals on main unit and speakers.
  2. Connect power: Plug power cord into wall outlet (120V AC).
  3. Connect antennas: Attach FM wire antenna and AM loop antenna to their terminals.
  4. Position speakers: Place speakers at least 1 meter apart for stereo effect.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation around unit. Do not place near heat sources or in humid environments.

Controls & Functions

Front panel controls: POWER, CD OPEN/CLOSE, TAPE PLAY/STOP, TUNER BAND, VOLUME, BASS/TREBLE.

Playing CDs

Supports standard audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW.

  1. Insert disc: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up.
  2. Select source: Press CD on main unit or remote.
  3. Playback: Press PLAY; use SKIP to navigate tracks.
  4. Pause: Press PLAY/PAUSE during playback.
  5. Stop: Press STOP; press again to reset track memory.
  6. Repeat: Press REPEAT for track or disc repeat.
  7. Random: Press RANDOM for shuffled playback.
  8. Eject: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE to remove disc.

Note: Some CD-R/RW discs may not play depending on recording quality.

Using the Cassette Deck

Auto-reverse playback, manual recording capability.

  1. Insert cassette: Ensure tape window faces outward.
  2. Playback: Press TAPE then PLAY.
  3. Recording: Connect microphone to MIC jack, press REC and PLAY simultaneously.
  4. Auto-reverse: Tape reverses automatically at end of side.
  5. Stop/Eject: Press STOP, then press again to eject.

CAUTION! Never leave tapes in deck when not in use. Keep deck clean of dust.

Tuning the Radio

Manual and automatic tuning options.

  1. Select band: Press TUNER repeatedly to cycle FM/AM.
  2. Auto tuning: Press and hold TUNING +/- for 2 seconds.
  3. Manual tuning: Press TUNING +/- briefly.
  4. Preset stations: Tune to desired frequency, press MEMORY, select preset number (1-30).
  5. Recall preset: Press PRESET +/- or numeric buttons.

Tip: Extend FM wire antenna fully and position for best reception.

Connecting External Devices

AUX input for MP3 players, smartphones, or other audio sources.

  1. Turn system off before connecting.
  2. Connect device: Use 3.5mm stereo cable from device's headphone jack to AUX IN on main unit.
  3. Select source: Press AUX on main unit or remote.
  4. Adjust volume: Start with low volume on both device and system.

Note: For recording from external source, connect to AUX IN and use cassette recording function.

Sound Settings

Experiment with settings for different music types: MEGA BASS for rock/dance, reduced treble for vocal clarity.
