Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, well-ventilated surface.

  1. Connect antenna: Attach TV aerial cable to ANTENNA IN connector.

  3. Connect audio: Use optical cable to home theatre system or stereo cables to TV.

First-Time Setup

Recording and Playback

Supports recording to DVD±R/RW, playback of DVDs, CDs, and Video CDs.

  1. Insert recordable disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, load disc.
  2. Record: Press REC for instant recording; use GUIDE for digital TV recording.
  3. Pause live TV: Timeshift function allows pausing and rewinding live broadcast.
  4. Playback: Navigate titles/chapters with arrow buttons; use SKIP for chapter jump.
  5. Edit recordings: Delete scenes, divide titles, create playlists in title list.
  6. Finalize disc: Required to play recorded DVDs on other players.

WARNING! Do not move unit during recording or playback. Use recommended disc types.

Timer Recording

Schedule recordings using the Guide or manual timer.

  1. Access Timer Programming from HOME menu.
