Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, well-ventilated surface.

  1. Connect Antenna/Cable: Attach the antenna or cable TV line to the ANT IN terminal.
  2. Connect to TV: Use the supplied AV cable (or Component/HDMI for better quality) to connect the recorder's output to your TV's input.
  3. Connect Audio System: Use the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) or analog AUDIO OUT for connection to a home theater system.
  4. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Use the supplied power cord.

First-Time Setup

Power on the recorder and your TV. Follow the on-screen setup wizard.

  1. Initial Setup: Select language, country/region, and time zone.

Recording & Playback

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the unit from the wall outlet before cleaning.

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For stubborn stains, use a cloth slightly dampened with mild detergent solution. Do not use solvents such as alcohol or benzine.

Clean the lens only if necessary with a commercially available CD/DVD lens cleaner. Do not attempt to open the unit.

CAUTION! Never allow liquid or small metal objects to get inside the unit. Avoid placing in humid or dusty locations.
