Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Install batteries before first use.

  1. Open battery compartment on rear.
  2. Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close compartment securely.
  4. Point remote at device and test basic functions (Power, Volume).

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries or different types. Remove batteries if not used for extended periods.

Programming the Remote

Two methods: Auto Search and Direct Code Entry.

  1. Auto Search: Press and hold SETUP until LED blinks twice, enter 9-9-1, point at device, press POWER repeatedly until device turns off, press SETUP to save.
  2. Direct Code: Find code for your device in booklet, press and hold SETUP until LED blinks twice, enter 4-digit code, LED blinks twice to confirm.
  3. Test remote functions (Volume, Channel).

Tip: If code not working, try Auto Search or alternate codes from list.

Using Macro Functions

Macro lets you perform multiple commands with one button.

  1. Press and hold MACRO button until LED lights.
  2. Press buttons in sequence (max 10). LED blinks after each.
  3. Press MACRO again to save. LED turns off.
  4. Assign macro to a button (e.g., RED) by pressing that button after saving.
  5. To run macro, press assigned button.

Example: "Watch DVD" macro: Power On TV, Input to HDMI1, Power On DVD player, Play.

Learning Function

Learn commands from original remote if code not available.

  1. Place remotes facing each other, 2-5 cm apart.
  2. Press and hold LEARN button until LED lights.
  3. On RMT-B109C, press button to assign (e.g., GUIDE).
  4. On original remote, press corresponding button. LED blinks, then stays lit if learned.
  5. Repeat for other buttons. Press LEARN to exit.

CAUTION! Do not move remotes during learning. Ensure batteries are fresh.

Care & Maintenance

Use soft, dry cloth to clean. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight. Keep away from liquids.
