Initial Setup & Installation

Programming the Remote

Two methods: Auto Code Search and Direct Code Entry.

Auto Code Search (Recommended):

  1. Turn on the device (e.g., TV) you want to control.
  2. Press and hold the corresponding device button (e.g., TV) on the remote until the indicator light stays on.
  3. Point remote at device and repeatedly press the POWER button. Release when the device turns off.
  4. Press the OK button to save the code. Test other functions (Volume, Channel).

Direct Code Entry: Find the 3- or 4-digit code for your device brand in the compatibility list. Press and hold device button until light stays on. Enter code using numeric keypad. Light blinks twice if accepted. Test.

Operating Your Devices

Ensure remote is set to correct device mode (TV, DVD, etc.).

  1. Power Control: Press POWER to turn device on/off.
  2. Volume/Channel: Use VOL +/- and CH/PAGE +/- buttons.
  3. Menu Navigation: Use arrow keys and OK to select.
  4. Input Selection: Press INPUT to cycle through TV video sources.
  5. Mute: Press MUTE to silence audio; press again to restore.
  6. Number Entry: Use numeric keypad for channels or menu numbers.

Tip: For devices not responding, ensure you've selected the correct device button on the remote.

Battery Replacement & Care

Replace batteries when remote response weakens or indicator light dims.

  1. Slide open battery cover on back.
  2. Remove old batteries and dispose properly.
  3. Insert two new AAA batteries, matching + and - marks.
  4. Close cover.

Care: Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners. Avoid dropping or exposing to extreme heat/cold.

CAUTION! Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
