Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Install batteries and prepare remote for first use.

  1. Open battery compartment: Slide cover on back of remote.
  2. Insert batteries: Place two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close compartment: Ensure cover clicks securely.
  4. Test remote: Point at device, press POWER button in corresponding mode (e.g., TV mode for television).

Programming the Remote

Two methods: Auto-search or direct code entry.

  1. Auto-search (for supported devices):

    • Point remote at device, press POWER repeatedly until device turns off.
    • Press OK to save code.
  2. Direct code entry:
    • Find device code from compatibility list.
    • Press and hold MODE button until LED blinks twice.
    • Enter 3-digit code using numeric keypad.
    • LED blinks twice if code accepted; test functions.

Tip: If code does not work, try auto-search or consult updated codes online.

Using Learning & Macro Functions

Learning a command:

  1. Place original remote 2-5 cm from RMT-B119A's learning sensor.
  2. Press and hold LEARN button on RMT-B119A until LED lights.
  3. Press button to be learned (e.g., INPUT) on RMT-B119A.
  4. Press corresponding button on original remote; LED blinks upon success.
  5. Repeat for other commands; press LEARN to exit.

Programming a macro:

  1. Press and hold MACRO button until LED lights.
  2. Press sequence of buttons (max 10) with pauses (<1 sec).
  3. Press MACRO again to save; LED blinks twice.
