Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Unpack remote and inspect for damage.

  1. Open battery compartment on rear.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close compartment securely.
  4. Remove any protective film from LCD (if applicable).
  5. Aim remote at device, press corresponding device key (e.g., TV).

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries. Dispose of batteries properly. Avoid exposing remote to extreme temperatures.

Programming the Remote

Three methods: Auto Search, Direct Code Entry, Learning.

  1. Auto Search: Press and hold device key (e.g., TV) until indicator lights. Point at device, press POWER repeatedly until device turns off. Press SET to save.
  2. Direct Code Entry: Refer to code list. Press and hold device key, enter 4-digit code. Indicator blinks twice if valid.
  3. Learning Function: Place original remote head-to-head with RMT-D109E. Press LEARN, then target button, then original remote's button. Light confirms.
