Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Prepare remote for first use.

Tip: If code not found, use Learning function to copy commands from original remote.

Using Macro Functions

Program a sequence of up to 10 commands to a single Macro button (M1, M2, M3).

  1. Clear macro: Press and hold MACRO button (e.g., M1) for 3 seconds until LED flashes.
  2. Record sequence: Within 20 seconds, press buttons in desired order (e.g., TV POWER, wait 2 sec, DVD POWER, INPUT).
  3. End recording: Press same MACRO button again. LED flashes twice.
  4. Execute: Press the MACRO button to run entire sequence.

WARNING! Ensure devices are within range and powered. Delays between commands may be needed for device response.

Learning Function

Copy commands from original remote if code not available.

  1. Prepare: Place remotes 3-5 cm apart, facing each other.
  2. Enter learning mode: Press and hold MODE + MUTE until LED stays on.
  3. Select target button: Press button on Sony remote you wish to program (e.g., TV MENU).
  4. Teach command: Press corresponding button on original remote. LED blinks if learned.
  5. Repeat for other buttons. Press MODE to exit.
