Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Prepare the remote for first use.

  1. Open battery compartment: Slide cover on back of remote.
  2. Insert batteries: Place two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).

  4. Test remote: Point at device and press POWER to check basic operation.

Programming the Remote

  2. Auto Search: Point remote at device. Press and hold device button and POWER simultaneously until LED blinks. Press POWER repeatedly until device turns off. Press device button to store code.

Tip: Test each programmed button (Volume, Power) to ensure full functionality.

Using Learning Functions

Learn commands from original remotes for custom or missing functions.

  1. Place remotes head-to-head, 2-3 cm apart.
  2. On RMT-D122E, press and hold LEARN button (if dedicated) or device button + SET until LED lights steadily.
  3. Press button on RMT-D122E you wish to program (e.g., a unused button).
  4. Press and hold corresponding button on original remote until RMT-D122E LED blinks and turns off.
  5. Repeat for other buttons. Press LEARN or device button to exit.

WARNING! Ensure batteries are fresh. Learning may not work for all commands (e.g., RF or Bluetooth). Avoid direct bright light during process.

Controlling Multiple Devices

Use device buttons to switch control between equipment.

  1. To control TV: Press TV button, then use Volume, Channel, Input, etc.
