Initial Setup

Prepare the remote for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back, insert two AAA batteries observing correct polarity (+/-).
  2. Select Device Type: Press and hold the desired device key (e.g., TV) until the LED at the top blinks twice.
  3. Enter Setup Code: Using the number pad, enter the 3 or 4-digit code for your device brand from the provided code list.
  4. Test Control: Point the remote at your device and press POWER. If the device turns on/off, programming is successful. If not, try another code for your brand.

TIP: Keep the code list booklet for future reference.

Programming the Remote

To program for a new device or if initial code fails.

  1. Turn on the device you wish to control.
  2. Press and hold the corresponding device key on the remote (e.g., AUDIO) until the LED blinks twice.
  3. Enter the 3 or 4-digit setup code for your device's brand using the number pad. The LED blinks twice if code is accepted.
  4. Point the remote at the device and press POWER to test. If the device turns off, programming is complete. If not, repeat steps 2-3 with another code for your brand.
  5. For Auto Code Search (if codes unknown): Press and hold the device key and the POWER button simultaneously until the LED blinks. Then repeatedly press the POWER button every 2 seconds until the device turns off. Immediately press the device key once to store the code.

Learning Function

To teach the RMT-D122O a command from another remote.

  1. Place both remotes facing each other, 2-5 cm apart.
  2. On the RMT-D122O, press and hold the LEARN button (on the back) and the target button you wish to program (e.g., a specific color button) until the LED blinks twice.
  3. On the original remote, press and hold the button whose command you want to copy. The RMT-D122O's LED will blink slowly, then fast when learning is complete.
  4. Test the learned button by pointing the RMT-D122O at your device and pressing it.

NOTE: Learning may not work for all devices or functions (e.g., RF signals).

Using with Multiple Devices

The remote can control up to 4 different devices. Always press the corresponding device key first (TV, DVD/BD, AUDIO, STB) to set the active mode. The remote will remember the last code used for each device type.

Macro Function (One-Touch Play): Program a sequence (e.g., turn on TV, switch to HDMI 1, turn on DVD player) to a single button (like DVD/BD).

  1. Press and hold the DVD/BD key and the LEARN button until the LED blinks twice.
  2. Press the series of buttons in the exact sequence you want to record, with a 1-second pause between each.
  3. Press the LEARN button again to end recording. The LED will blink rapidly.
  4. Now, pressing the DVD/BD key (or the assigned macro button) will transmit the entire sequence.

Care & Battery Replacement

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

Battery Replacement: When the LED flashes red with each button press or performance decreases:

  1. Slide open the battery cover on the back.
  2. Remove the old batteries.
  3. Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/- markings).
  4. Close the cover.

CAUTION! Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations.
