Battery Installation

Install batteries before first use.

  1. Turn remote over and locate battery compartment on back.
  2. Slide cover in direction of arrow to open.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace cover securely.

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries or different types. Remove batteries if not used for extended periods to prevent leakage.

Initial Setup & Device Programming

Program remote to control your devices.

  3. Enter 3-digit code from code list for your device brand.
  4. LED blinks twice if code accepted; test POWER button.
  5. If device turns off, programming successful. If not, try next code.
  6. Repeat for each device (TV, DVD, etc.).

Tip: Use auto-search if code not known: Hold SETUP, press POWER repeatedly until device turns off, then press ENTER to save.

Advanced Functions

Volume Lock: Locks volume control to specific device. Key Lock: Disables buttons to prevent accidental presses. Learning Function (if supported):

  1. Place original remote head-to-head with RMT-D143E.
  2. Press LEARN, then button to program on RMT-D143E.
  3. Press corresponding button on original remote; LED flashes.
  4. Repeat for other buttons; press LEARN to exit.

Note: Learning may not work with all remotes (e.g., RF remotes).

Macro Programming

Create one-touch sequences for multiple commands.

  1. Press and hold MACRO button until LED blinks.
  2. Press device buttons in desired sequence (e.g., TV POWER, DVD POWER, AUDIO POWER).
  3. Press MACRO again to save sequence to a macro button (M1, M2, or M3).
  4. To execute, press MACRO then the assigned macro button.

WARNING! Macro memory may be cleared if batteries are removed. Maximum delay between commands is 2 seconds during programming.

Care & Maintenance

Use soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid liquids, solvents, or abrasive materials.

CAUTION! Do not expose to extreme heat, humidity, or direct sunlight. Replace batteries promptly when low to prevent leakage.
