Initial Setup

Allows remote to learn commands from original remotes of non-Sony devices.

  1. Place both remotes (RMT-D145A and original) head-to-head, 2-3 cm apart.
  2. Press and hold LEARN button on RMT-D145A until LED lights steadily.
  3. Press desired button on RMT-D145A (e.g., POWER). LED blinks.
  4. Point original remote at learning sensor and press corresponding button. LED blinks twice upon success.
  5. Repeat for other commands. Press LEARN to exit.

WARNING! Learning may not work with all remotes (especially RF or Bluetooth). Ensure original remote is infrared.

Battery Installation

Use only AAA alkaline batteries.

  1. Slide open battery cover on rear.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, matching + and - symbols inside compartment.
  3. Replace cover securely.
