First-Time Setup

Prepare the remote for initial use.

Programming the Remote

Operating Your Devices

Basic operation after setup.

  1. Select device: Press TV, DVD, etc. Remote is now in that mode.
  2. Aim remote: Point front end directly at device's infrared sensor.
  3. Press buttons: Use appropriate functions (Power, Volume, Menu, Navigation).
  4. Switch devices: Simply press another device button.

Note: Some functions may not be available for all devices depending on programming.

Learning Function

To teach the remote commands from another remote.

  1. Place both remotes facing each other, 2-5 cm apart.
  2. Press and hold LEARN button (if present) until indicator lights.
  3. On RMT-D147E, press button you want to program (e.g., INPUT).
  4. On original remote, press corresponding button to transmit code.
  5. Indicator blinks to confirm learning. Repeat for other buttons.
  6. Press LEARN again to exit.
