Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Prepare remote for first use.

  1. Open battery compartment on rear of remote.
  2. Insert two AA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close battery compartment securely.
  4. Point remote at device and test basic functions (Power, Volume).
  5. If remote doesn't respond, proceed to Programming section.

CAUTION! Use only recommended battery types. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.

Programming the Remote

Three methods: Auto code search, Direct code entry, Learning function.

  1. Auto Code Search:
    • Turn on device to be controlled.
    • Press and hold device button (TV/DVD/etc.) until LED blinks twice.
    • Point remote at device and press POWER repeatedly until device turns off.
    • Press ENTER to save code.
  2. Direct Code Entry:
    • Find correct code for your device in code list (see manual appendix).
    • Press and hold device button until LED blinks twice.
    • Enter 4-digit code using number pad.
    • LED blinks twice if code accepted.
  3. Learning Function:
    • Place original remote head-to-head with RMT-D150P.
    • Press LEARN on RMT-D150P, then press button to program.
    • Press corresponding button on original remote.
    • LED blinks to confirm learning.

Macro Function Setup

Program sequence of commands to multiple devices.

  1. Press and hold MACRO button for 3 seconds until LED lights.
  2. Select macro button (M1, M2, or M3) to program.
  3. Press device and command buttons in desired sequence (e.g., TV POWER, DVD/BD POWER, AUDIO POWER).
  4. Wait 1 second between commands.
  5. Press MACRO again to save sequence.
  6. Test macro by pressing assigned M button.

Example Macro: "Watch DVD" = Turn on TV, switch to HDMI input, turn on DVD player, turn on audio system.

Using with Multiple Devices

Switch between controlled devices.

  1. Press corresponding device button (TV, DVD/BD, AUDIO, CABLE/SAT).
  2. LCD displays active device icon.
  3. All subsequent commands control that device until another device button is pressed.
  4. Use POWER button specific to each device mode.

Tip: For quick volume control while watching TV, ensure TV mode is selected before adjusting volume.

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries if not using for extended period. Clean with dry, soft cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
