Initial Setup

Prepare remote for first use.

Programming the Remote

Three methods: Auto search, Direct code entry, Learning function.

  2. Direct Code Entry: Find code for your device in code list, press and hold SETUP until device button blinks twice, enter 4-digit code, press device button to save.
  3. Learning Function: Press and hold SETUP and LEARN simultaneously until device button lights, aim original remote at front sensor, press button to learn on original then corresponding button on RMT-D155P, repeat, press SETUP to exit.

Tip: Keep original remote handy during learning process; ensure good alignment and close proximity.

Advanced Functions

Macro Programming: Record sequence of commands to multiple devices.

  1. Press and hold MACRO button until indicator lights.
  2. Press device buttons and commands in desired sequence (e.g., TV Power, CABLE Power, TV Input).
  3. Press MACRO again to stop recording.
  4. Assign to a macro button (M1, M2) by pressing it while indicator is lit.
  5. To execute, press the assigned macro button.

Volume Lock: Lock volume control to specific device (e.g., audio receiver). Press and hold SETUP and device button (e.g., AUDIO) for 3 seconds until indicator confirms.

Factory Reset: Press and hold SETUP and 1 simultaneously for 5 seconds until all device buttons flash. Note: This erases all custom programming.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when remote becomes unresponsive or range decreases significantly.

  1. Slide open battery compartment cover on back.
  2. Remove old batteries, observing polarity markings.
  3. Insert two new AA batteries, ensuring correct orientation (+/-).
  4. Close compartment cover securely.
  5. Test remote operation.

WARNING! Do not mix battery types (alkaline, rechargeable, etc.) or use damaged batteries. Dispose of old batteries properly.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with dry, soft cloth. Avoid liquids, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

Storage: Keep in dry place away from extreme temperatures and humidity. Remove batteries if not used for extended periods.
