Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Programming the Remote

Learning Function

To teach the remote commands from another remote (for non-Sony devices):

  1. Place both remotes nose-to-nose, about 2-3 cm apart.
  2. On RMT-D158P, press and hold LEARN button (near sensor) until indicator lights.
  3. Press the button you wish to program (e.g., AUX POWER).
  4. Press and hold the corresponding button on the original remote until the indicator blinks.
  5. Repeat for additional buttons; press LEARN to exit.

NOTE: Some proprietary or complex signals may not be learnable. Ensure original remote is functioning.

Care & Maintenance

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote. For stubborn stains, slightly dampen cloth with water; do not use solvents.
