  3. Press and hold the corresponding button on the original remote. The Sony remote's LED will blink rapidly, then stay on, then blink twice to confirm learning.
  4. Test the learned button. Repeat for other buttons as needed.

NOTE: Some complex or digital signals may not be learnable. Ensure a clear line of sight and fresh batteries in both remotes.

Resetting the Remote

Return the remote to its factory default settings.

  1. Open the battery compartment.
  2. Press and hold the small RESET button (if present) inside the compartment for 5 seconds using a paperclip.
  3. Alternative Method: Remove the batteries. Press and hold the POWER button on the remote for 10 seconds. Reinsert the batteries.

This will erase all learned codes and macros. Pre-programmed codes will remain.

Care & Maintenance

Unload batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface.
