Initial Setup

Install batteries and program remote for your device.

Programming the Remote

Three methods: Direct code entry, Auto search, Learning function.

  1. Direct Code Entry:

  2. Auto Search:
    • Press and hold device MODE button until LED blinks twice.
    • Press and hold POWER button, remote sends codes automatically.
    • Release POWER when device turns off.
    • Press ENTER to save code.

Tip: Test all major functions (volume, channel, menu) after programming.

Learning Function

Copy commands from original remote not in pre-programmed codes.

  1. Prepare: Place both remotes facing each other 2-3 cm apart.
  2. Enter learn mode: Press and hold LEARN button for 3 seconds until LED stays on.
  3. Select target button: Press button on Sony remote you want to program.
  4. Send command: Press corresponding button on original remote toward Sony remote.
  5. Confirm: LED blinks then stays on if learned successfully.
  6. Exit: Press LEARN button to exit learning mode.

WARNING! Do not move remotes during learning. Ensure fresh batteries in both remotes.

Battery Replacement

Replace when backlight dims or remote becomes unresponsive.

  1. Open battery compartment on rear.
  2. Remove old batteries, dispose properly.
  3. Insert two new AAA batteries with correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close compartment securely.

CAUTION! Use only AAA alkaline batteries. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
