Initial Setup

Install batteries and program for your device.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Select device: Press and hold the desired device button (e.g., TV) until LED blinks twice.
  3. Enter code: Use numeric keypad to enter 3-digit code from code list for your brand.
  4. Test remote: Point at device and press POWER to test control.
  5. Auto-search: If code unknown, use auto-search mode (see Programming section).

CAUTION! Ensure correct battery polarity to avoid damage.

Programming the Remote

Learning Function

Learn commands from original remote controls.

  1. Prepare: Place both remotes facing each other 2-5 cm apart.
  2. Enter learn mode: Press and hold LEARN until LED stays on.
  3. Select button: Press button on Sony remote you want to program (LED blinks).
  4. Teach command: Press corresponding button on original remote (LED blinks twice if successful).
  5. Repeat: Program additional buttons as needed.
  6. Exit: Press LEARN or wait 10 seconds to exit.

WARNING! Do not move remotes during learning. Some commands may not be learnable.

Macro Programming

Program sequence of commands for one-button control.

  1. Enter macro mode: Press and hold MACRO until LED lights.
  2. Record sequence: Press buttons in desired order (LED blinks for each).
  3. Store macro: Press MACRO again → LED blinks rapidly → press a device button to assign macro.
  4. Execute: Press assigned device button to run macro.
  5. Clear macro: Press and hold MACRO + assigned button for 3 seconds.

Example macro: "Watch DVD" = TV ON → Input HDMI1 → DVD ON → Play.

Care & Maintenance

Use soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid liquids and abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight. Remove batteries if not used for extended periods.
