Battery Installation

  1. Slide open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
  2. Insert the two AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) markings inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks into place.

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Setup & Code Entry

To program the remote to control your device:

  1. Turn on the device (TV, DVD player, etc.) you wish to control.
  2. Find the correct 3 or 4-digit code for your device brand and type from the included code list or the compatibility section of this manual.
  3. Point the remote at the device. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator light stays on.
  4. Enter the 3 or 4-digit code using the number pad. The indicator light will blink twice if the code is accepted.
  5. Test the remote by pressing the POWER button. If the device turns off, programming is successful. If not, repeat steps 2-4 with another code for your brand.
