Installation

First-Time Setup

Connecting to TV and Audio System

  1. Basic Connection (Composite): Connect the yellow video cable to VIDEO OUT on player and VIDEO IN on TV. Connect red/white audio cables to AUDIO OUT L/R on player and AUDIO IN on TV.
  2. S-Video Connection: For improved picture, connect S-VIDEO OUT on player to S-VIDEO IN on TV. Audio connection remains the same.
  3. Component Video (Progressive Scan): For HDTVs, use component video cables (Y, Pb, Pr). Set VIDEO OUTPUT in menu to PROGRESSIVE.
  4. Digital Audio: Connect the DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL) to a compatible AV receiver for Dolby Digital or DTS soundtracks.

Tip: Ensure all devices are powered off before making or changing connections.

Playing Discs

Supports DVD, VCD, SVCD, Audio CD, CD-R/RW (with MP3 or JPEG files).

  4. Stop Playback: Press STOP once to pause at current point; press twice to return to beginning.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.
