Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, ventilated surface.

  1. Connect to TV: Use RF cable (Channel 3/4) or A/V cables for direct connection.
  2. Connect antenna/cable: Attach to RF IN connector.
  3. Connect audio system: Use audio output jacks to amplifier/receiver.

First-Time Setup

  3. Record: Press REC (+ PLAY for timer recording).
  4. Pause: Press PAUSE during play/record.
  5. Fast search: Use FF/REW during stop; use shuttle dial during play.
  6. Index search: Press INDEX to jump to marked points.
  7. Speed selection: Choose SP/LP/EP before recording.
  8. Audio dub: Record new audio while preserving video.

WARNING! Do not expose tapes to magnets, heat, or moisture. Keep recording tab intact.

Timer and Programming

Timer Recording: Program up to 8 events.

  1. Press TIMER on remote.
  2. Select program number.
  3. Set start/end time, date, channel, speed.
  4. Press ENTER to save.
  5. Ensure VCR is on and tape is inserted.

One-touch recording: Press OTR for instant timer recording (30min-4hr).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Clean exterior with dry cloth. Use approved head cleaning tape monthly.
