Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near TV.

  1. Connect to TV: Use RF cable (included) to connect VCR's RF OUT to TV's antenna input.
  2. For better quality: Connect AUDIO/VIDEO outputs from VCR to corresponding inputs on TV.
  3. Connect antenna/cable: Attach cable or antenna to VCR's RF IN connector.
  4. Plug power cord into AC outlet.

First-Time Setup

Power on VCR; follow on-screen prompts.

Recording & Playback

Supports VHS tapes (SP/LP).

  2. Record: Tune to channel, press REC (or REC+PLAY for one-touch). Use timer for future recordings.
  3. Play: Press PLAY; use FF/REW for search; PAUSE for still frame.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; eject with EJECT button.
  5. Index Search: Press INDEX during playback to mark locations; use SEARCH to find.
  6. Speed Control: Select SP or LP in menu before recording.
  7. Audio Mode: Switch between Hi-Fi and Mono in audio settings.

WARNING! Do not expose tapes to magnets, heat, or moisture. Keep tapes in cases.

Timer Programming

Program up to 8 recording events.

  1. Press MENU, select TIMER PROGRAM.
  2. Enter start/stop time, date, channel, and speed (SP/LP).
  3. Save event; ensure VCR is in standby with clock set.
