Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Mount in standard 19-inch rack.

  1. Rack mounting: Attach brackets to unit sides, secure to rack with screws.
  2. Connect audio inputs/outputs: Use balanced XLR or TRS cables for analog I/O.
  3. Connect digital I/O: Use AES/EBU cables for digital audio connections.
  4. Network connection: Connect Ethernet cable to network switch or directly to computer.
  5. Connect power cable to AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; allow at least 1U space above unit. Use appropriate rack screws.

First-Time Setup

Power on unit; initialize system settings.

  1. Power on: Press front panel power switch; wait for boot sequence.
  2. Network configuration: Set IP address via front panel or DHCP.
  3. Install control software: Load software on computer, connect to unit.
  4. Load factory presets: Restore default settings if needed.
  5. Configure I/O routing: Set input/output assignments in software.

CAUTION! Use proper grounding; avoid audio ground loops. Ensure network cables are securely connected.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access parameters via front panel or control software. Front Panel: POWER, ENCODER knob, ENTER, UP/DOWN arrows, MENU, EXIT.

Control Software: Device discovery, parameter adjustment, preset management, system configuration, firmware updates.

DSP Parameters: Input gain, EQ (parametric, shelving), dynamics (compressor, limiter, gate), delay, crossover, matrix mixing. System: Network settings, display brightness, meter options, factory reset. Presets: Save, recall, copy, rename, import/export.

Connecting Devices

Analog I/O: XLR/TRS balanced connections. Digital I/O: AES/EBU XLR connections. Network: Ethernet to control computer or network.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Use balanced cables for analog connections to minimize noise.
  3. Match digital cable impedance (110Ω for AES/EBU).
  4. Connect network cable to active network port.

Tip: Label all cables for easy identification. Use cable ties for neat cable management.

Network Configuration

Supports static IP or DHCP addressing.

  1. Direct connection: Connect Ethernet cable directly to computer.
  2. Network connection: Connect to network switch/router.
  3. IP configuration: Set via front panel menu or software.
  4. Software connection: Launch control software, discover device.
  5. Firmware updates: Download latest firmware, upload via network.

WARNING! Do not disconnect network cable during firmware update. Ensure stable power supply.

DSP Presets & Effects

Factory presets include: Full-range speaker processing, subwoofer management, monitor mixing, live sound reinforcement.

  1. Select preset: Use front panel or software to recall preset.
  2. Modify parameters: Adjust EQ, dynamics, delay as needed.
  3. Save preset: Store modified settings to user memory location.
  4. Effect types: Parametric EQ (up to 8 bands per channel), compressor with auto-makeup, limiter with look-ahead, gate with hysteresis, delay up to 1000ms.
  5. Crossover: Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley, Bessel types; slopes 6-48dB/octave.

Note: Presets are non-volatile; settings retained during power off.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior; compressed air for connectors.

CAUTION! Do not use liquid cleaners. Avoid excessive dust accumulation in ventilation openings.
